Mill River Players present first show in Bristol location
Written by Sports

It’s appropriate because the Players formerly were located in Central Falls, which was a shorter drive for Northern Rhode Islanders.
While the ride is a little longer, the new theater is easy to find, within sight of Bristol harbor.
Moreover, producers Marcia and Chuck Petitbon provide directions on their Web site at www.millriverplayers.org or by calling (401) 724-5658.
As for the show, it’s a musical comedy/revue that takes a fresh look at a typical — or maybe not so typical — American family.
The music, dance and sketch comedy hold up a mirror to family life, ranging from the era of the Sunday drive, which includes the title song, to “’Cause I’m a Mommy,” “Coach Bob,” and ending with “Enjoy the Ride.”
Performances are through Sept. 14 with curtain on Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $22.50 per person, and reservations are recommended; call the telephone number or visit the Web site listed above.
